Clear Truth reviews a document. The home inspection report you upload is the only thing we look at.
Nobody from Clear Truth has been to the property, and nobody will go. We do not inspect, test, measure, or examine anything. We know nothing about the house beyond what the report says.
We do not diagnose. We do not say what caused anything in the report, whether a repair is needed, or what it would cost.
We add nothing about the house. If the report does not say it, we do not state it as a fact about the house. Where we draw on experience, it is to put the report's findings in order and to raise questions. Those are labeled as ours. They are questions, not findings.
We have no opinion about the inspector. We review what the report says, does not say, and is silent on. We do not judge the person or company who wrote it, and nothing in a Clear Truth Review says they did or did not meet any standard.
The report controls. If anything in your Review differs from the report, the report is the record of what the inspector found.
Every recommendation ends at a professional. Your Review tells you who to call and what to ask. A licensed or qualified professional who sees the property decides what is needed.
This is not legal, engineering, or inspection advice. It is not a substitute for the inspection, for a specialist evaluation, for a contractor or engineer, or for an attorney. It is not a warranty or guarantee of the property's condition, safety, value, or code compliance.
